وردەکاری (التفاصيل مع الوصف الوظيفي)

Basic Function: 

• To carry out preparation, set up and Operation/Make up and break out of all threaded tubular products as assigned by the immediate supervisor adhering to relevant specifications, standards and following instructions associated with the job requirements. This shall involve working with both API & Premium related components. 

The role ensures correct torque application, proper handling of tubulars, and conformance with OEM/API standards while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.

Key Tasks:

• Perform machine setup and carry out duties as per company production schedules, reference and understanding of engineering drawings, route cards ensuring job compliance and achieving quality end results. 

• Communicate with Client representatives (QAQC) regarding the ongoing job requirements, confirming correct data and equipment traceability.

• Responsible for ensuring the correct grease application to the threaded connections in accordance with the recommended procedures. 

• Ability to understand the torque graph recognizing acceptance and rejection, taking the appropriate actions when necessary.

• Ensure hold and inspection points are adhered and notify the QC inspector/customer prior reaching to the inspection or  witness point.

• Ensure documents for all completed jobs are forward in a timely manner to company QAQC for verifications and inclusion to the job package.

• Organize storage areas for client’s equipment within and around the General Machine shop area, always ensuring clear traceability. 

• Always maintain good housekeeping in the work area. 

• Maintain machine related tooling and equipment in safe working order and report any malfunction or unsafe condition to the immediate supervisor or management.

• Report all quality and safety issues identified during the work process where it may have an effect of the company's final product or service.

• Required when requested to work on 24-hour call basis (during the scheduled shifts)

• Works assignments carried out to the highest quality level in accordance with client instructions and company procedures. 

• Full understanding and compliance with Company policies

• Performs various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job, and personal competency. 

Competency:

• Mechanical Engineering Diploma 
• Minimum eight-year experience in Bucking Machine

• Knowledge of API 5CT, 5B, and premium thread manufacturer requirements (VAM, JFE, Tenaris, Hunting, etc.).

• Familiarity with torque-turn monitoring systems and software.

• Familiarity with company's requirements for torque related workload.

• Background in mechanical engineering is an asset.

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Basic computer knowledge. 

• Knowledge of record/documentation certification for equipment.

• Knowledge of API Spec 5CT, 7-1 & Premium Connections / Standards.

• Team Player 

• Must be able to speak and write English fluently
